BKE was founded by Bonita Kerr who grew up riding before she could walk.

Growing up spending long days outside in sun, wind and rain she was frustrated at her inability to find great baseball caps to work in. Not enjoying wearing leaky caps that blow off in the wind, or sweaty caps on a hot day and wanting a good curved brim to keep the sun out of her eyes, she decided to create a better quality baseball cap, one that stays put in a high wind, shades your eyes from sun and rain, keeps you dry and best of all looks great too.
